Exciting....
As you know we have haired sheep on our farm, and we are currently in the process of breeding our ewe's. So needless to say we should not have any lambs right now, right? Guess again!!! Memorial Day we had 2 lambs and another lamb about 4 days later. One of the lambs we believed to have been cleaned up by the dogs that were in that field and so now it has been orphaned and we have it in a pen in the backyard and are bottle feeding this little lamb. Sammy has been having a load of fun with her new lamb, she has named it Gracie Lou!!
I have been trying to find a job online that I can do from my home office. With my continued injuries from the incident last May, and my disability I am unable to just go and get any job. However, I am finding it to be very difficult to just sit and wait to hear from the companies that I have applied with. I tend to have a lot of inner judgement issues, and to be judged so greatly by people that dont know you at all. This is very important to my family as it has been a financial struggle from the start of all of this. Its not a matter of me not wanting to work, but a matter of finding the patience within to wait to hear something from someone!!!

So long and so much has happened........
Good Morning all,
So a lot has happened since my last post as you can most likely expect. I started working as an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance in Oct. 2011 in one of our local offices. I really enjoyed my job, I was helping people on a daily basis and every day was a bit different. Then on May 21, 2012 I want to surprise my little girl for lunch as my parents were babysitting that day. As we were finishing up our lunch I noticed a mentally handicapped gentleman walking around the restaurant and everytime he passed by our table he looked under as if their was something of interest to him. About the forth time he did this he dove under the table and came out with my leg while punching at my leg and foot trying to get my shoe off so that he could chew on it. His attendant comes over and says he apologized so everything is fine....ummmm NO I don't think it is. However, I was terrified and so shooken up I immediately wanted to get the heck out of the restaurant and go back to some sort of normallcy. I called my husband who was working and he asked if I had gotten any of their information and when I told him that I had not he said that I needed to go back and see if they were still there and file a report with whatever agency they were with so that maybe I could prevent this from happening again. So when I returned I saw that they were still there so I took a piece of paper and excused myself for interrupting and asked if she could please write their info down so that I could file a report, and as rudely as she could possibly have gotten she said "I work for the government and I dont have to tell you anything", so I replied, "Your either going to tell me or the law". This is when they stood up and started to leave so I dialed 911, they got in their car and acted like they were going to leave so I wrote down her tag# so that I would have something to give the police if need be. However they did not leave the police arrived and took a report. Apparently this all made this gentleman very upset and his attendant felt the need to only encourage that and finally felt the need that she was going to need to sedate him. My father had to drvie me home as I was shaking so much the police didn't want me driving.
Long story short.........
I had to have knee surgery, I lost my job, my daughter had to go to a Psychologist as she was afraid to leave the house and felt that whole thing was her fault as she chose the restaurant. I have petellar tendonitis and can not walk up stairs normally, or step up on that leg at all. I have developed issues in the opposite foot because of the way I had to walk for 6 months. I have recently finished physical therapy for that foot, with no success so on June 10th they are going to cast for 6 weeks to see if that relieves the issue otherwise I will have surgery on my foot and the recovery period for that is about 9-12 months.
Oh yeah and to top it all off I was rear ended in a car accident on April 1, 2013 and I have whiplash!!!
My husband says that if I have any luck it is bad luck!!!
Memorial Day we were awoken with a surprise and had a Ewe that had birthed 2 lambs. We believe that one of the Great Perinese (dog) that was in with them may have cleaned one up as the Ewe didn't want to have anything to do with it anymore. So I have a orphan lamb in the backyard that has to be bottle fed every 4 hours. My daughter named it Grace, and the lamb doesn't know that it is a lamb!! Will post pictures soon!
Hope everyone is doing well and will update this blog once a week (or at least try too).

Things they are a changing
So tomorrow I start my new job and so as the day passes I am getting a little bit anxious with the unknown that lies ahead. Although it is a job that I have been doing for some time, it requires training so that I can learn how they do things. Joe has been doing great with the P90x and well as far as I go not so much. I determined after much pain that with my fibromyalgia, I just can not do P90x right now. So while Joe does that I am taking the 30 day challenge on the Wii Active. My first day was yesterday and I can say I am feeling it today. Not near the amount of soreness and pain as with the P90x but my goal is to get to the point where I can try it again.

1st day of my slimmer future....
Joe and I completed our first day of P90x yesterday, and I'm hurting sooooo much today. I can not decide if it is good pain or bad pain. I know that the pain has to be there but I am still not thrilled about it. I keep telling myself that Rome wasn't built in a day and I didn't get this way in a day. After photos were taken, and measurements were written down we started working out. I am glad that Joe and I are doing this together and look forward to what our skinny bodies will look like in 90 days!!!

Ignorance
While watching television tonight with the hubby we saw a commercial for a nose spray that our daughter has been using off and on for over 6 months now and come to find out its not even FDA approved for use in kids her age. I immediately got on the phone (mind you it was 10:30p.m) and kindly asked him if there were any concerns that we needed to have now knowing that she shouldn't be using it. His response "you think this is an emergency", you are darn freaking right I think that this is an emergency. You hand out medicine samples to parents with kids who are already having trouble breathing when they are not approved. What sort of idiot does that?????? One of the nose sprays isn't approved for children under 12, she was 4 when he gave it to us. The other is for 6 years and older. He is handing this stuff out like its candy left over from Halloween. He said he does this all the time and that the reason that it isn't approved by the FDA is because they haven't done a study on them yet, so let's use MY DAUGHTER!!!!! If you can not tell I am beyond upset and can not believe the nerve of this doctor. My response to him as calmly and patiently as I could without my voice cracking from being so upset was that I would contact her pediatrician and if there were any indications or the slightest possibility of something that was or could be wrong I would be contacting my attorney. Since I could not do any of this at 10:30 at night, I printed off the complaint form for the state medical board and will be taking care of this in the coming days. I am not just some southern hillbilly mother, no sir, I am a mother who he should not have messed with. He was and still is in the wrong and will not get away with handling my daughter in such a way. NO ONE will use my daughter as a guinea pig, NO ONE!!!!!!!

Surprise Surprise
So after having Sammy out and about for two days in a row she started running a fever yesterday of 103.0 for no apparent reason. This is not the first rather it is happening more and more. We do not know what is causing these fevers but are going to have a heart to heart with her pediatrician at Sammy's well visit in a couple of weeks. So here is a picture from yesterday of my little one not feeling the greatest.

Yesterday was also supposed to be what news anchors were calling a "supermoon" and although we were unable to see it as it was rising we were able to see it later on in the evening and it was not what I had expected but still marvelous!

So Joe and I are off today to do some errands and go to lowes to start planning our garden and what else we want to do in the backyard. Hope you all have a great day!!!!
