Here they are

Here are the pictures that I have been promising.....

As you can see with a little persuasion anything is possible!

This weekend has been another very short and yet long weekend. not much got done around the house, because I was so busy dealing with our cable company. Trying to deal with people that just don't care is almost impossible sometimes, but it worked out in the end and all is well.

I have a big test tomorrow that I am not prepared for, at least that's how I feel. I am putting it in God's hands and trust that it will be fine. Joe has work tomorrow and Sammy's grandparents are taking her to Dollywood so she ought to have a fine day. I hope to put some pictures on that subject in a few days. Joe had a softball game tonight with the department and they won which was very exciting. It was a loud but very fun time. I will post again tomorrow and let you all know how I did on my test.

The weather has been fantastic and you can feel that fall is definitely in the air. I hope that everyone is able to enjoy weather like I have and that you all had a wonderful and fun weekend. Positive thoughts for the week ahead.
Each day is a new day!

Time Flies

I can not believe that it has been yet another week that has gone by without a post. I'm sorry about that but it just seems that time seems to slip by unannounced now a days.

This week has been busy and eventful. Joe was off all week so was able to get some things accomplished around the house. We have half a roof on our carport now, though we had hope it would be complete the weather just didn't seem to want to cooperate. We also got all of the post holes dug and filled with concrete for our back deck..I will try and post a couple pictures of that funny situation tomorrow!

I had school this week and realized how much studying I have to do this weekend. I have been bickering back and forth with our cable company , but I think that it has been figured out now and that things will be okay. We also decided to go with satellite instead of having to deal with the cable company.....LONG STORY! A friend of mine at school mentioned a park that is not too far that perhaps I might talk Joe into going to this weekend, weather permitting. Otherwise maybe we will stop there before we head up to Virginia.

With the passing of yet another September 11th, it made me go back and think about how far or how not so far this country has come after that terrible day. it also gave me a chance to step back and remember of everything that Joe went through and how one day changed so many lives including ours. I only hope that Samantha will ever have to deal with anything so terrible.

A whole week

It is sad that I haven't had a chance before now to sit down and write about what has been going one with us. This week has been very long but exciting. Sammy turned 18 months this week, my baby is growing up. She also experienced play dough for the first time ever. Except for the time her daddy made it into a hot dog she didn't try to eat it which was good.

Joe has been at pump school this week learning how to use a type of fire truck that pumps water. I am pretty sure thats all it does but it must be complicated because he has come home tired every night and talks about all of these difficult equations that he has to know. He is off for the next week so I am hoping to get holes dug and concrete poured for my deck and the carport finished. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. I will post pictures as things start getting finished. I can not wait to have those two projects done. It will be so nice to have some place to park my car so that it is not boiling hot in the middle of the day; and it will be nice to have a back deck to sit out on and eat or just relax. Oh it will be nice.

I gave a massage to a friend of mine today who had a headache when she came over and after the massage it was gone, so I felt like I really helped her and that made me feel really good.

For those of you who know that I have been contemplating on opening up my own spa, I have decided to not do it for at least a year possibly longer until we see how things go and how fast my clientel builds. I will open my own spa it just wont be tomorrow. And although I am a bit sad I feel relieved not to have to worry about that on top of everything else right now.

Signing off for now!
