Just another day

Today is a school day and although I have a busy morning I dont know what my clinic will hold for me. Today may turn out to be a very slow day. Joe is home today and will get to do craft things with sammy and hopefully figure out the whole magnet issue I have been having so that they can go play-fishing. There is still snow on the ground in some places and on the porches, but I don't know if we got anymore last night.

Tonight we are going to have a nice sit down quite meal and have some serious discussion, because Joe's sister may be moving out here on Friday (yes tomorrow). If you know about his family than you can understand why so incredibly fast.

ITS SNOWING!!!

So this morning started out quite eventful. Before Joe left for work he came in to give me a kiss goodbye and told me that it was snowing pretty hard. I got up to find that there was already an inch on the ground. I said my good byes and told him to drive very careful. He slid getting out of our driveway and drove in 4-wheel drive going 10 miles an hour all the way to the highway at which point he only had like 10 minutes to get to work (he would be late). Sammy and I lay back down after all of the commotion and try to go back to bed since it was so cold only to be woken up from Joe to tell me that he had been in an accident. Apparently, he was going around a curve (10 miles an hour) and started to slide and went up on a curb so much so and at just the right angle that it blew his tire and dented the wheel. So he is fine and we think that his truck is okay but we have to buy a new wheel and tire which will be a total of like 250.00

So now that you all know that we had ALOT of snow.....here are some pics of Sammy playing in on the back porch in her snow suit (thank you Leslie).








We are expected to get even more snow tonight so we will see. Part of me is hoping for school to be cancelled for the snow tomorrow and part of me is just ready to get it over with.

Let's all hope that tomorrow will be a day not filled with the drama of vehicle incidents but with of happiness and smooth riding!

Today Joe allowed me some extra sleep time by getting up with Sammy, which was very much needed. We are expecting quite a bit of weather this afternoon and into tonight so I am hoping that after breakfast (joe is making) that we can go into town and get done what we need to do before the weather starts up again. Last night joe and I went down and got in the spa and started talking about the last time we did something for us and we think that it was in Feb 2004 when we stayed in Gatlinburg at a cabin. So we have decided that it is about time for some us time. We are only staying over night in pigeon forge but we need some quality us time. Without having to think about all the extra stuff to bring with us when we go somewhere with sammy. I have to admit Im a bit nervous because it will be the first time overnight without sammy, but she will be with my parents so I know I have nothing to worry about. Afterall, they did raise me and look how I turned out. I was hoping that we could take sammy to the park today but due to the weather it looks like it is going to be another day inside.

About time.....

I have finally decided that I am tired of being tired and that part of me feeling this way may be my baby weight that Im still carrying around. I have 20 pounds to loose and I am going to attempt to do this prior to us going on our vacation in May. Not to mention, Im going into a field of business where there is a lot of money spent on how you look and feeling good about yourself. I want to feel sexy again. I want to look the way I did the last time Joe came home from Iraq.

I need motivation from my friends to keep me going!!!!! HELP!!!!!

I will give weekly updates to everyone. Admitting to how things go or don't. Thinking positive though is going to be what gets me through this. I want to look good for my anniversary/graduation/1st family trip. Afterall Sammy is going to be 2 next month. I don't want to get pregnant with the second baby without getting rid of my extra weight from baby 1. I see everyday women that seem to have had a baby yesterday and are smaller than I am and that well frankily depresses me, eventhough Im happy for them, I am terribly upset with myslef. So help me out Y'all.
