This week

Today started the week sort of hectic, which I guess I ought to be used to. Our county pager went off at 7:45am this morning because there was a vehicle accident just down the road. So I woke Gina up and told her she needed to watch Sammy to find out when I got there that the car had gone end over end and she was in need to be taken to the hospital. After I got home about an hour later, Joe came home from work shortly after I got home from the wreck. We all got showered and ate breakfast and headed off for the day as we had lots of errands to get accomplished.

We went to Barnes and Noble and got a book about Disneyworld. We were able to go out to a nice meal and talk about things that needed some attention. After that was finished we hopped our way to go see the Easter Bunny at the mall. That experience went over like a lead balloon. She was fine with the Easter Bunny as long as he/she (as I don't know what exactly the Easter Bunny is other than a Bunny) did not come close to Sammy. As soon as I put Sammy on the Easter Bunny's lap she was screaming and freaking out so bad she was shaking. So I hope that is not a prelude as to what we can expect with the characters at Disneyworld.

After putting our daughter through trials and tribulations of seeing a life size bunny and then expecting her to sit on the bunny's lap so I could get a cute picture....we took her to Toys R' Us. We were able to get the Stroller attachment that I have been looking for along with the movie "A Bugs Life", and a giraffe. She was much better when we started on our way back to Greeneville. We had to go by Wal-Mart for a couple of things, including some pants for Gina because she got the job we had been waiting patiently to hear about.

Once we got home Joe and Gina went outside to play some catch and then of course Sammy wanted to go down and play with her Daddy and the soccer ball, so I have included some very cute pictures of that.







Soooooo all in all it was a nice day. Also here are a couple from the Aquarium that we went to on Friday that I promised.

Past week

This past week was beyond crazy. Joe came home early on Thursday which was nice and then Friday we all went to Gatlinburg to the aquarium. Sammy had an absolute blast. I am so glad that this month is almost over simply for the fact that means I am that much closer to graduation. Hopefully things will continue to go well. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Goals

Today I am setting a goal of getting caught up on all of the laundry and house cleaning and getting ahead for next week. Joe is at work today so it is just us girls at the house today. I started my morning with taking our trash to the "Trash" and washing bed sheets. I have to drive into town this afternoon to get a few odds and ends from the grocery, and drop a couple of things off to Joe at work. I swear I feel like I have lost my mind lately I just feel like I can't remember anything anymore. If I don't write it down on a list, its not going to happen. Well that's all for today for us. This past week.....

I wanted to just stop and reflect on everything from this past week...with school and our new roomie (who we are enjoying very much having here), and just the day to day stuff that seems to consume every moment in my life. Yesterday we had Sammy's 2ND Birthday Party and enjoyed that she could actually open her presents and be excited about what was under the paper or in the bag. To see her light up like she did just touched my heart in that special way only your child can do. So here are some pictures from yesterday's happenings.





School last week wasn't too bad except for the plain fact that we are having some difficulties trying to get people to come in for a massage at an extremely discounted rate, so that we can get our clinical hours in to graduate. I am beginning to get extremely irritated at the fact that our main instructor can't seem to pin anything down to a date. The night class that is still in there was supposed to graduate a week ago and they still don't know when exactly they will be done. All I know is that my rear end is out of there May 11Th come heck or high water and on its way down to DISNEYWORLD. Fingers crossed that our class will not have as many problems with school ending and graduation.

Busy morning

Today we have to go and get tires put on joes truck and then take Gina around to get a bunch of applications. She is doing really well so far and is adjusting great. She has talked to her parents and everything seems to be okay. I have a big test that I need to study for today also so Im keeping todays post short.

Oh the days

So this weekend we drove to Nashville to pick up Joe's sister who is now living with us. Things in California had just gotten to the point where she needed to leave. So it is nice to have another set of hands around, but it is another person that we are now responsible for. I guess everything has its pros and cons...but I know that this will all be fine and will work out for her and us in the end. We took her down into town yesterday so that she could register to vote and get her bank account set up and then once she gets her voters registration card in the mail we can go down and get her drivers license and health insurance after that. Oh the process. Our little one is still going down to my mom and dads when both of us have to work which is the case today, but Gina (Joe's sister) is going to apply online for a bunch of jobs and I'm confident that she will have an interview by the end of the week. Fingers Crossed everyone! Sam is already attached which is good because with her being so little it could go either way, wither really like her or really not like her. So that turned out for the best. I tried to take some pictures of Gina coming in at the airport, but apparently my little camera is broken. I will try to post some pictures this week. TRY!!!! This is kind of a crazy week for me, I have a big test for school on Thursday, which I have just begun studying for. Then grocery shopping and paying bills Friday, Sam's Birthday Party on Saturday and then driving up to Johnson City to go to Sam's Club and do some more big shopping.

That is till our vacation, which right now I really need. i am hoping that I am not slammed with clinic on Tuesday and hopefully someone will be able to give me a massage. I have a test in school coming up that I just feel like I am not going to be prepared for at all. We have been very busy here at the house and for some of you, you know why, and for others well you will find out soon enough. *No I'm not pregnant* It just seems lately that it is one thing after another, and I am looking forward to the day where we can just sit at home and not have to worry about studying, or going somewhere, we can just be a family. Oh how those were the days. I am sitting here tonight reflecting on how my daughter is about to turn 2 tomorrow. I can not believe how fast she has turned into a little person with the cutest personality. So as I continue to remember here are some pictures so that you to can remember.......
