I have been saying for days now that if it is going to be this cold outside well there needs to be snow. Well, guess what? ITS SNOWING!!!!!!!
Plenty on the agenda today, of course Sammy has tumbling this morning, and then just weekly errands to get done in Johnson City.
Joe's at work today so he won't get to partake in any afternoon snow play but perhaps tomorrow.
I better get in the shower before Sammy wakes up or I will have company and then things just will take longer this morning.

yeah yeah yeah
Okay so I know that its been like a week since my last post, SORRY! Lets see Joe's birthday was a good day and a great meal. He is currently recuperating from an injury that he received on the job 3 days ago. By injury I mean he had to go to a fire and when the water hit the ground it began to freeze and he slipped on the ice a couple of times. The first time it was okay he landed flat on his back and was fine because of all of the padding but the second time he did it, he said it was like a bad ballet move and he has strained his calf muscle. So I have had him on limited duty and we have been icing it and wrapped it. I think he will be back to normal after the first of the week as long as he doesn't go and step on any more ice without skates!
I finally got the call about the job that I was hoping to get at a brand new day spa opening up in my area. Sooooo YAY for me! This place is absolutely stunning it reminds me of something that you would see on top of a mountain in Colorado. I am very excited. I have to go up there today to sign all of my paperwork and get my uniform and so hopefully I will be starting up there relatively soon.
Sammy is good other then aggravating her mommy and daddy with potty training. I swear I think that I am going to have the first 5 year old who still wouldn't be potty trained. I just don't know what else to do. I guess there is only so much I can do and then it is up to her. We did have a very good day the other day. Sammy has learned to ride her bike that we bought her over a year ago. She just got on it a couple of days ago and said "look mommy" and she sure enough was riding it like a pro. Joe and I bundled her up and took her down to the school the other night to actually give her a place to ride her bike. We are very proud of her. I am hoping that is how the potty training will go. One day she will just wake and say "look mommy".
Not to much is on the agenda for today. I have a dermatologist appt. this morning so that hopefully I can finally stop looking like a teenager with my face. After that I might go and run some errands around town since I won't have Sammy with me, she will be at her Nanni's staying warm. Later this afternoon I have to go up to work and then that will pretty much sum up the day.

It is supposed to be very cold and possibly snowy so I am fairly certain it will be a stay in the house by the fire place in our comfy clothes kind of weekend. (Although I have to go into work on Sat. for a couple of hours) At least Joe and Sammy will be warm.

Happies
So first things first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!
Well this week has been a very busy one, Monday Sammy had tumbling and dance (which we are probably not going to be taking her back to, since shes not learning anything and they are nickle and diming us like crazy). Tuesday was filled with errand running and hanging out with the family, I just wish that the weather could have been nicer. Joe and my father had gift cards from Christmas that were burning holes in their pockets so we got that taken care of and then we went to look at fifth wheels since my parents have decided that the travel trailer that they have just isn't what they really want, so they are looking to upgrade and the Joe and I may purchase (if the money is there) the travel trailer from them for the trade in value of it. So then we all went out to dinner and is was nice to just get out and about and have a good time. Work has been stressing me out and so I had a margarita to help calm my nerves though it didn't really help. Yesterday was filled with work, Joe and I both worked so Sammy went to my parents house and played with all of her toys after her nap. After I got home I just ate dinner at their house which was nice not to have to worry about coming home and figuring out what to make Sammy and I.
Since today is my hubby's birthday its up to him (sort of) what we do today. I have to go into town today to look for possibly another birthday present for him and a purse for myself, and then come home to make his cake. So if the weather turns out to be nice today I would like to be able to take Sammy out and let her run around a bit since lately we've been cooped up in the house like caged animals.

Beginnings
This weekend didn't turn out to be too exciting. Saturday I ended up having to work so Joe and Sammy stayed in and played, while on Sunday Joe had to work. So he and I have been like ships passing in the night lately so hopefully sometime this week we will have a chance to all be home at the same time.
Today's title comes with hope for today's job interview. If I were to get this job I think it would change things a lot for my career. The weather is going to make today somewhat miserable since I have so much to try and accomplish. Sammy has tumbling and then I have some errands to do before my interview, and then she has dance tonight. So we have a very full day ahead of us.
I have decided also that I am not going to be so hard on myself this year as I have in the past, or at least I am going to TRY! In the past I work and work till I make sure that it is all done before the next day, whereas from here on out I am going to try and just take things easy and if it doesn't get done today well there is tomorrow.
So with that said I am signing off for today and will let everyone know about the interview hopefully tomorrow. Happy Day

Informed
Okay so this is a new year and so I promise that I will do my best to keep all better informed of what is happening in the lives of us. New years turned out to be dark since we were all asleep. What party pooper's we are, right? Joe had to work yesterday so he didn't feel like only getting 5 hours of sleep and well I just get depressed when I watch the ball drop myself, so I opted to go to sleep as well. Maybe next year. I am expecting a phone call today about a possible job and well I am doing a very poor job about being patient about it. Sammy seems to be possibly cutting her 2 year molars, so that makes things quite difficult at times. Temper Temper Temper, I just don't know who she would get that from.
Its pretty cold here today so I think that we will just stay in for the most part and maybe do some cleaning. I am supposed to have a massage client this afternoon, and then afterward we are going to go over to my folks house and have supper and watch a movie. I haven't been sleeping well lately and have been having some troubles with my asthma so if it doesn't get better here soon I may have to go to the doctor and have some tests done (not looking forward to that).
